Our Grade 10 learners had the opportunity to enjoy a 3-day trip (3-5 May) at Silver Cloud Game Lodge and Conference Centre in Bela-Bela. The objective of this outdoor camp was to refine their leadership skills through fun-filled activities in the veld. The Vice Principal-High School, Sir Isaac had this to say; “Our focus is teambuilding, spiritual formation and communication. These aspects have proved to be key to effective leadership”
Fifty-nine learners participated in various activities which included spider web, ball balance, communication train, blind folder and water sport. The most electrifying was the obstacle course which challenged most learners to explore out of their comfort zone. Praise God all of them managed to navigate their way throughout and great was the excitement.
We would like to appreciate the 5 teachers who accompanied these learners on this trip; Sir Abraham, Sir Mike, Sir Moses, Ma’am Kwena and Linkie.
