A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL VISION LEADER
THE PRINCIPAL AND VISION LEADER

Principal Mac and Elsa Eagle's Nest
Principal Mac and wife Elsa van den Berg

It has been a great honour and privilege to walk with the vision and mission God gave me to develop Christian leaders by enabling and equipping them with a Christ-centred Biblical worldview so that they can live out as servant leaders wherever they are.

Our dedicated and devoted staff will emphasize that “Eagles” trust in the Lord Isaiah 40:31 and Proverbs 3:5.

Our focus from the beginning in 1994/1995 was to take hands with parents and organisations. We have a Christ-centred biblical view. The development and vision were to transform and develop future leaders who will import SA and the world as “Eagle leaders” who trust and pray. This has been achieved by so many current and Old Eagles students rising as Eagle leaders in the country and beyond the borders.

Eagles stand on three pillars: Prayer, Education and Outreach, with Jesus Christ as the foundation. God has been with us all the way. The sound of the Eagles is soaring in Schools all over the world. God, I believe, has Eagle’s Nest in His hand like our emblem shows.

Thank you to all the teachers who have evangelized and discipled the “Eagles” over the years as our emblem also shows the cross in red, meaning if we are in the hand of God, blood washed, filled by the Holy Spirit – the dove on the emblem, they will soar like Eagles. The eagle on top of the emblem Isaiah 40:31.

The Lord also showed me, the Principal, of the widow who was told by the profit to bring what she has. We applied that same principle and started building. The Lord sent learners from all the wind directions of Africa.

Today, we are a Christian school of over 800, starting with 34 learners in the Burger Street house of Dr Herkie and their wife Corine, with 60 staff. Isn’t God amazing and faithful we must Trust Him with all our hearts Prov 3:5,6.

Thank you to all who have supported the vision and prayer and support to make the ENCS what it is becoming today.

A special word of thanks to my wife Elsa, who has supported me all the way and still is.

May the Eagle have its flight and achieve what God has intended it to be and fly to new heights.
Sir Mac
Principal and Vision leader,
