Gr 1’s 2020 at our Bell ringing ceremony
On 3rd of February the new Gr 1’s of Eagle’s Nest Christian School took part in the ringing of the Eagle’s bell.
The message the principal gave them was to:
Trust in God with all your heart Isaiah 40:31
Acknowledge God in all your ways Proverbs 3:5
Love the Lord your God with all your heart. Luke 10:27
This event started in January 2017 by the new Gr 1’s and Gr 8’s of 2017 to dedicate their hearts to the Lord. The Bell ringing will be a continues event for all new Gr 1’s and Gr 7’s leaving Primary school, as well as new Gr 8’s entering the High School, and Gr 12’s finishing their school career.
The Gr 3-2019 Eagles IEB test
The Gr 3-2019 Eagles wrote the IEB International Benchmarks test and received the outstanding results:
- Mathematic Distinctions: Minandre Venter,Alexandra Mmethie
- Mathematic HighDistinction: Deklin Mare, Micheal Jacobus vd Berg, Tshilidzi Muchango
- English Distinction: Myhluri Mabunda.
- English High Distinction: Alexandra Mmethie, Zihlanga Nkuzana, Michael Jacobus van den Berg
