The Eagles soar high again in Maths Horizon.

In my previous article, I cited that we eagerly awaited the 2022 edition of the Horizon Maths Competition results. I’m humbled to inform you that the Eagles were able to once again soar high.

Trust me, we are a people helped by God. Notwithstanding the competitiveness of this Competition, our learners came up tops. The results in question are the provincial top 50. It was an emotional moment to receive an invitation indicating that 11 of our learners were in the top 50. The most exciting part was that 4 of our learners were in the top 10.

This is how the Eagles were spread in the top 50.

Neo Mosomne 4; Alexandra Mmethie 7; Tshilidzi Muvhango 9; Princess Chiendamunyama 10; Tinotenda Jaka 11; Pheladi  Mogajane 16; Yididieya Semu 30; Bontle Mashamaite 35; Rukudzo Maromani 38; Ashley  Chitimera 47; Prosperity  Mkhabele 50. These learners received certificates, medals, headphones and phones as prizes.

To add the cherry on top, the school received a trophy for best-improving school. To this, we are forever grateful.

Nkosana Nkala (Maths Olympiad facilitator)

As a school, we would like to thank Sir Nkosana for his tireless effort to assist our learners to achieve these results. Well done to all who participated!
