Leadership Camp Intermediate Phase 2025

Leadership Camp

What did we learn from Leadership Camp?

The activities we did helped us build our teamwork skills, communicate better, trust each other and our decisions, and listen to each other’s ideas. In the devotions, we talked about how being a leader doesn’t mean we should use it for its privileges and superior authority, but we should do it with a servant’s heart.

Overall, the camp was Amazing!

Leadership Camp

The leadership team of the Intermediate Phase arrived at Camp Yakol and started with a bonding activity filled with challenges and fun, which helped us prepare for the day. Later on, we did team-building exercises, which helped us as a group. Even though the activities were challenging, we worked as a group. The facilitators split us into two groups we were assigned to for most of the camp.

In those groups, we did a lot of activities that helped us build teamwork, learn communication skills, and learn to give everyone a chance to speak to understand each other’s ideas better. We learned that we must lead with humility and that being a leader is not just about being in power but rather about serving others. This camp allowed us also to get to know each other better. We did an activity in which we said things we wanted to stop, start and continue. That helped us to know the things we are not good at, the things we need to start doing and the things we should continue to do.

This Leadership Camp was an unforgettable experience from which we all learned something new. It also helps build our bond as a group. Leadership was one well spent.
