On Saturday, the 11th of March, 9 schools converged at Eagle’s Nest Christian School to compete in various disciplines, including soccer, netball, volleyball, debate, table tennis and chess. Eagle’s Nest scooped gold in Junior Chess, Table tennis and Netball u/16. They also settled for silver in volleyball (boys and girls), while both junior and senior debate teams grabbed bronze medals.
Congratulations to Rabboni Christian School, who travelled all the way from Brits. They clinched gold in boys’ u/19 soccer. The following learners from Eagle’s Nest got the limelight of the day: Theto Mohale was crowned Best Player and Top goal scorer for U/19, Best player u/16 Netball went to Lethabo Meela; Best Table tennis players awarded to Praise Kondowe (senior) and Ishmael Manamike (junior); Abrina Boya got the Best volleyball player for girls; Neo Mosomane was crowned 4th Best Speaker in the junior division in debate. Eagle’s Nest family would like to thank all schools that participated in this event.
