Eagles Crowned Best Junior Debate Team Under the Guidance of Lehlohonolo Letsoalo

The Eagles debating team has soared to national recognition, being crowned the Best Junior Debate Team at the 13th University of Limpopo Vice Chancellor’s Championship.

The young team of Noko Maphoto, Lydia Maloma, and Mahladisa Tumisang outperformed fierce competition in a tournament that featured over 150 participants from across the province. Their sharp reasoning, eloquence, and teamwork left a lasting impression on the judges and spectators alike.

Not only did the team secure the overall title, but the debaters also achieved individual excellence, ranking among the Top 10 Best Speakers of the championship:
• Mahladisa Tumisang
• Noko Maphoto
• Lydia Maloma

This remarkable achievement reflects the hard work and determination of the students, guided by the steady hand of their debating coach, Lehlohonolo Letsoalo, and the unwavering support of Teacher Linki.
